The
Brockley Jack Studio Theatre is a versatile and well equipped venue
adjoining the Brockley Jack Public House. There has been a theatre at
the Brockley Jack for over seventeen years.
The studio provides an intimate performance space, with newly
refurbished lighting and sound equipment. It has cinema-style raked seating
that can accommodate up to 50 people.
This layout is flexible and the space can also be transformed to
seat the audience on three sides.
Performances usually
run from Tuesday to Saturday.
There are no performances on Mondays. |

Venue Hire
The
theatre can be hired for the performance of plays, film, comedy and
poetry.
It is available on a weekly basis, with priority given to three-four week runs, although one-off performances are
occasionally considered.
The rehearsal room (12m x 7m) is also available on a daily or weekly
basis.

The Brockley Jack Theatre is led by Kate Bannister (Artistic Director) and Karl Swinyard (Theatre Manager). Kate and Karl have directed and designed theatre productions throughout London for over 15 years.

Transport
The
theatre is within easy reach of central London.
Car
There is plenty
of free parking outside the theatre and its side streets, with easy
access to the A2 and South Circular (A205).
Tube
The East London Line runs to Honor Oak Park and Brockley Station.
Train
Crofton Park Station is 2
minutes walk from the theatre and only 15 minutes journey time from
central London (Blackfriars Station). Trains from Crofton Park also
travel to St. Pancras, West Hampstead and Kent.
Honor Oak Park Station is 8 minutes walk and only
10 minutes journey time from London Bridge Station. Trains from London Bridge run every 9 minutes.
Directions: From Honor Oak Park Station turn left and walk
to end of the road. Turn left at the traffic lights into Stondon Road. The
theatre is situated 500 yards on your left.
From Crofton Park Station turn left out of the station, then cross the
road at the pedestrian crossing. The Jack is 200 yards on your
left.
